The Bellevue City School District has been rated Excellent on the 2010-11 local report card. The district met 25 of 26 indicators, raising their rating from Effective in 2009-10 to Excellent. All indicators except 5^th grade math were met. “The district will be working very hard to form a plan to address the 5^th grade math indicator and target this area for improvement.” The graduation rate and attendance rate exceeded the state standards. “The teachers, staff and students in our district have worked extremely hard and their commitment to our district goals has paid off”. The district has established a district leadership team which analyzes data and writes goals for the district based on the data. Each building in the district also has a building leadership team which focuses on specific building level data. The district also met adequate yearly progress and had a performance index score of 99.4. “I am extremely proud of our staff for their dedication to each individual student in our school district. Everyone is working towards the same goals, with the success of every student being our top priority.”
